The First LUEWWD Event: June 12, 2010
You may have noticed the Flickr strip to the side of the screen. Those are just a few of the pics from our photographer, Ann Oshel. The rest of her pictures are on our Snapfish account in the “group room” under the title “more LUEWWD.” We also have albums from Kaye Williams and Virginia Bridges (titled LUEWWD I and LUEWWD respectively). You can also see a few pictures from judge Kim Strom-Gottfried on our Facebook page.
While it would be nice to have all the pictures organized into one place we just can’t seem to figure it out. So be patient with us, get a Snapfish account, and keep checking back to see if we’ve learned anything.

LUEWWD Prizes
We thought it would be good to show you all the blood, sweat, and tears that go into handcrafting the coveted LUEWWD prizes. We didn’t want to include the finished products (yes, that’s right…multiple prizes) so we could leave something up to the imagination. But here are some pics of the championship belt in the making. Those of you paying close attention may notice that it’s a hand-stitched, star-studded delight…complete with a trophy.
